Featured Candidate - Leigh Logan
Leigh Logan graduated cum laude from SMU Dedman School of Law in May of 1992, in the top ten percent of her class. She attended Randolph-Macon Woman's College in Lynchburg, Virginia, and graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.A. in Economics and Finance in 1988.
As a student at UTD, Ms. Logan interned for the Honorable Judge Mark Whittington while he served as district judge of the 160th Judicial District Court and the Honorable Judge Gary Hall of the 68th Judicial District Court. During her third year of law school, Ms. Logan clerked for the Honorable Judge Ann Ashby of the 134th Judicial District Court.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Logan worked as an associate at Carrington, Coleman, Sloman & Blumenthal, L.L.P. from August of 1992, through February of 1995. In 1995, Ms. Logan started her own firm and she has practiced criminal law for nearly fifteen years.
Ms. Logan was a member of the Inn of Court (Patrick Higginbotham chapter) and she worked as a volunteer for Dallas Habitat for Humanity as a member of the Junior League of Dallas. She resides in University Park with her husband and son.
