Featured Candidate - Julie Reedy

Julie graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Mary Baldwin College in Stanton, Virginia.  She then married her "high school honey," Frank Reedy, whom she met at Highland Park High School.  They continued their education at Teas A&M, where Frank had been in the Corps of Cadets.  Julie received her Masters Degree in Political Science, while FRank finished his two degrees in Environmental Design and Building Construction.  They then went on to MIT, where Frank received another two degrees.  Julie worked for MIT in the Alumni Association.  After an overseas stint, Julie attended law school at Southern Methodist University, where she received her law degree in 1983.

In 1988, Julie opened her law practice, which is dedicated to family law, divorce, modifications, child support, abuse and neglect cases, terminations, adoptions, and related issues.  Julie has served as Chairman of the DAlals Bar Association Jevnile Justice Committee and has served on numerous other civic boards and commtitees.  She is a frequent speaker on Family Law issues.

Julie and Frank have one son and three dogs, one of which is a registered therapy dog.  Julie and "Nelson" volunteer at the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center.
