Featured Candidate - Matt Rinaldi

 Matt Rinaldi is a rising star who will bring considerable legal expertise to the bench.  Matt has litigated numerous complex commercial, securities, antitrust, intellectual property and insurance coverage lawsuits in state and federal court involving amounts in controversy as high $4.5 billion. Matt has also developed and instructed an education course for lawyers on motion practice in Texas courts and has published articles in the Texas Business Litigation Journal regarding legal developments in the area of judicial admission of expert witness testimony in Texas courts. In recognition of his professional achievements, Matt was selected as a Texas Monthly Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2006 and 2007.

Matt obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics, cum laude, from James Madison University in 1997 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Boston University School of Law in 2001.  Upon receiving his law degree, Matt accepted a position as a litigation associate with the Dallas office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, one of the nation's premier law firms that is perhaps best known for its successful representation of President George W. Bush in the U.S. Supreme Court case of Bush v. Gore. Matt currently practices in its litigation section of the law firm Miller, Egan, Molter & Nelson LLP.
