Featured Candidate - Ben Adamcik

Constable Adamcik began his Police Career in April 1966, serving in the Patrol Division, Detective in the Crimes Against Person Division and as an Investigator in the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office.

After retiring from the Dallas Police Department, joined Schepps Dairy Inc, Cullum Companies Inc, (parent of Tom Thumb Supermarkets) and Brinker International.  All of these were as Corporate Security Director.

In Aug of 1998, joined Dallas County Constable Office and served in every capacity; civil, warrant and writ enforcement.

During all of this time also serving in the Army Reserve, retiring in 2004 at the rank of Colonel after 41 years of service.  Was also the first ever non-physician Commander of an Army Hospital.

Ben graduated with Honors from Sam Houston State University with a BS in Criminology and Corrections and also graduating form the Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, KS.

He was elected Constable of Dallas County Precinct 3 in 2006 and sworn into Office on January 1st, 2007.
