Judge Mark Greenberg has served as presiding judge of Dallas County Court at Law No. 5 since January 2003. Prior to his election to county court, Judge Greenberg served four years as a magistrate judge for the Dallas County State District Courts.
Prior to his judicial service, Judge Greenberg served a stint as a staff attorney with the Dallas Court of Appeals, and he was a trial and appellate attorney with the distinguished litigation firm--DeHay and Blanchard, LLP. Judge Greenberg served four years on the board of directors of the Dallas Bar Association, and he is currently on the board of directors of the Community Service Fund--an organization dedicated to providing free legal assistance in civil cases to low income citizens of Dallas County. Judge Greenberg is a fellow in the Texas Bar Foundation, the Dallas Bar Foundation, and the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation. Judge Greenberg is board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Judge Greenberg, a native of Galveston, Texas, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
