Judge Loving has over forty-five (45) years of legal experience and has been Judge of Probate Court No. 3 in Dallas County since 1994. He has served Dallas County with distinction and his exceptional experience combined with the respect and care he displays on the bench is above reproach.
Admitted to the State Bar in 1960, Judge Loving was also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas in 1967; Admitted to the U.S. Court of Military Appeals in 1968; and, admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for Federal Circuit in 1983. Of particular interest, Judge Loving was Captain – JAGC, U.S. Army Reserves from 1960-1969
He has been married to Mary L. (Carpenter) Loving since 1963 and they have three married daughters and five grandchildren. Among his many civic and religious activities, Joe is a Deacon, Trustee, Sunday School Teacher and Past Chairman of Deacons at Lake Highlands Baptist Church.
